Surface treatment was kept light to preserve movement and tonal variation, while the finish was chosen to protect the wood without muting its character. Each slab is firstly air dried for a minimum of 2-5 years and then kiln dried to 8-12% moisture content, which ensures its strength and stability. Every piece we craft celebrates the beauty of wood while caring for the forests it came from.
