Natural History for Your Home

Creation Story of The Cube of Origins

The Cube of Origins began with a simple and powerful idea, to preserve a complete natural history within a perfect geometric form. We sought a wood root of exceptional character, with wild grain, deep burls, and a story etched by decades of growth.

This organic artefact is then encased in a precise shell of earth toned and semi translucent epoxy resin. The process is one of contrast and harmony, where the raw and untamed edges of the wood are framed by the resin flawless and clean lined geometry.

The result is a tangible fragment of landscape, preserved to grace your home or office.

Sustainability and Wood Origin

We source our timber from trusted sawmills around the world, working only with partners who share our commitment to sustainability and responsible woodland management. The trees we use are never cut down purely for production — our wood comes from trees that have reached the natural end of their life cycle or have been carefully recovered from managed forests.

Each slab is firstly air dried for a minimum of 2-5 years and then kiln dried to 8-12% moisture content, which ensures its strength and stability. Every piece we craft celebrates the beauty of wood while caring for the forests it came from.

Care and Maintenance

Your table is protected with a premium wax oil finish that enhances the wood’s natural beauty while allowing it to breathe. With simple care, it will age beautifully for years to come.

Daily Care

• Wipe with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth.
• Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners — use only gentle, wood-safe products.
• Clean spills promptly to prevent staining or moisture marks.
• Protect from direct heat and prolonged sunlight exposure.
• Always use coasters, placemats, and felt pads under accessories.

Included Care Kit
Each table comes with:

• A small tin of matching wax oil
• A soft cloth
• A pair of protective gloves

Long-Term Maintenance

• Reapply a thin coat of wax oil once or twice a year, or whenever the surface looks dry.
• Apply along the grain using the provided cloth and gloves.
• Allow the oil to absorb, then gently buff to a soft, natural sheen.
• Regular care will nourish the wood, preserve its finish, and maintain its timeless character.
